I have seen this video many times. I work with a company that has partnered with HCHW and every time I watch this video my initial thought is gratitude to HCHW for being able to put a serious issue in a very informative, thought provoking message. People will watch this, and it will (hopefully) stir their emotions. It is visually appealing…My second reaction, is its sooooooo simple…small changes everyday by consumers, can lead to drastic changes by companies if they want to continue to be in business….yet, we are habitual creatures, and have been conditioned to believe what these corporations tell us is Healthy, b/c its “DR Recommended” ….Chemicals are a serious issue in our life, and our children’s life…we are not meant to be surrounded by a chemical soup, our bodies are not designed for that…we are meant to be in nature, thriving off the energies the earth provides for us. If anyone is interested in learning what we are doing to assist HCHW in their mission of educating families to create a healthy home environment, feel free to contact me.

After viewing the “Wake Up Story” video, what is your immediate reaction? Did you find anything particularly eye opening?
After watching this video I felt a rush of sadness and anxiety but also hope. Sad because every time I see the figure regarding how many chemicals are baby are BORN with, it’s just terrible. Anxiety because I wish I could do every single one of these things and protect my baby as much as I can but I need to reassure myself that I am doing some things and, like the video said, all the small things do add up. And hope because this information is getting out there and the word is spreading and I think taking steps to live toxin-free will become more and more commonplace. Thanks for being my friend and ally through this sometimes overwhelming fight!
After watching the video my immediate reaction was to feel nautious and upset. Our dog died of cancer from what we think was pesticide exposure. Thanks for hosting this party.
It makes me want to try even harder to rid our lives of these chemicals.
My immediate reaction is to do something. I can do something and it will be better than doing nothing. Every small step makes a difference in my family’s life and Its not hard at all. After watching I started reading more about it and already started to make changes, from what I use to clean to what we eat.
I feel more determined and persuaded to get rid of toxic chemicals in our lives
My reaction is I need to do more. I have started making my own baby and dog toys so I know exactly what they are made of. Looking forward to more ideas to help!
Every time I see this video it makes me sad that we’re bombarded with cheap, crappy products filled with unnecessary synthetic chemicals in every single thing around us. I just remind myself to take it 1 day at a time. Today I can eat well and choose wise products. Tomorrow I can find the funds to get a new mattress, etc.
maybe it is the day, but this has me in tears. It is so simple, share your knowledge and have faith that change will follow. It is nauseating how toxic our world is.
It is amazing to me how many nasty chemicals surround us, and more than that, but that people just generally accept this as normal! Thank you for posting the video. I hope many people are made aware to the dangers that surround us daily.
